I just love Ryan Reynolds in everything he does. I think he is one of the best actors of the last decade. Please stop looking at his body and start looking at his acting performances. I admit that the movies he made in the past are not allways high level but he does the job he was recruited for and that fellow movie watchers is what counts.

ich kann mich den anderen rezensionen eigentlich nur anschließen, man sollte über den plot nicht zuviel verraten. das wichtigste: episodenhafte erzählung, 3 handlungsstränge und ein überraschendes ende.

es ist ein wahnsinnig ergreifender film mit einer bisher noch nie erzählten geschichte. der trotz originalität leider ein eher unbekanntes meisterwerk ist.

die schauspielerische leistung von ryan reynolds ist unübertroffen. in keinem anderem streifen wurde soviel von ihm verlangt und er schafft es definitiv unter die haut zu gehen. kein anderer hätte diese 3 rollen so anlegen können wie er, den mittlerweile habe ich diesen film schon über 5mal gesehen und trotzdem bringt mich mr. reynolds am ende immer wieder dazu die eine oder andere träne zu vergießen.

auch seine kolleginnen melissa mccarthy, hope davis und vorallem die kleine elle fanning liefern eine glanzleistung ab. es ist kaum zufassen das ein kleines mädchen so arbeiten kann.

mit das beste an dem film ist, dass die hauptdarstellerin zwar eine wirklich sehr schöne dame aber nicht eines dieser dürren models ist, sondern eine gestande frau die keine komplexe zu haben scheint ein paar kilos zuviel zu haben.

rundherum ist dies ein großartiger film an dem alles stimmt! von der kameraführung angefangen, über die geniale besetzung, bis hin zu der absolut einfallsreichen story, ist dieser film nicht nur sehenswert, sondern ein muss für alle fans von anspruchsvoller unterhaltung! schade eigentlich das man nur 5 sterne hergeben kann, den dieser film "belong with the nines"...
