Even though this is in a DVD format, we live in a very fortunate time where one gets to be inspired by Maestro Tomomi Nishimoto who paved the way for Asian females to also be conductors of symphony orchestras. Regardless of what others may say about the orchestra conducting her or the orchestra not following her, etc. (I could see how that happened), I still admire and am inspired by Maestro Nishimoto. She makes the music her own and she becomes the music which is shown through her extroverted gestures. As a Korean female, I would actually love to be able to do what she does: to inspire and help musicians gain confidence as they play something as challenging as Tschaikovsky’s symphonies. Thank you, Maestro Tomomi Nishimoto. I hope I can study with you one day and attend one of your concerts in the future.
DVD works well and was in excellent condition.
